Favorite part about church- I like to go to church.

The kids run around screaming, laughing, fighting, or playing.
Sometimes I lay down and fall asleep.
When I wake up, the house is quiet and empty.
The car is gone.

That's why I love my husband.

Dallin was a non-stop conversation from 3:45 pm to 10 pm.

Among all that was on his mind:  kids.  He is going to name a kid, Kristen, after me.  He will name one Lily, and one Jay.  But who is Lily, he wondered.  He is going to have 5 kids, because he is five.  He is also going to have 61 kids (because he thinks he is funny).

He wandered throughout the house and found a bucket in Ellie's room.  He wondered where the treasure went.  I had used this bucket as "buried treasure" in an FHE back in September and have since spray painted it pink to go in Ellie's room.  Man!  This kid has a memory.

He wanted me to set up the XBOX.  Since Paul tinkered with it last year to try to mod it, I couldn't get it to work.  Dallin thought that was no problem because his friend "with a 7 in his name" could fix it.  He called him up on his hand phone, "Hey, buddy!  I need you to come fix this for me."  Friend-with-a-7-in-his-name came to the back door and Dallin let him in.  He informed me that "7" was bigger than his dad (sorry Paul).  "7" never did fix the machine, but did have a forced conversation on the phone with Paul, with Dallin dictating for both sides.

While putting Ellie down for a nap this afternoon, I laid down by her for a couple seconds.  Next thing I knew, Paul was waking me up, Ellie had escaped her nap, and Dallin had locked me in the room.  Too bad it was only a ten minute nap for me.  I could have used a solid hour.

one of the many wonderful presents Dallin got from his birthday, was a roll of paper from his cousin Jake.  Dallin LOVES paper.  He quickly got to work at home......

as always, a little creative mess isn't enough for this kid.  he got out a bag of toilet paper and made a tower.....
